The Bodyline Spa & Sauna is another great unexploited venue. It is clean, well managed, has all the facilities (though lacks a darkroom) but for some reason, no real action is happening unless you are a supermodel, of course.
Just like other cruising venues I have visited in Sydney, lads don’t seem to match with each other. Be it a gay sauna such as the Bodyline or the Sydney Sauna, the Trade cruise bar or the Signal, action is a rare commodity in this city’s gay life.
What’s even stranger about this is that the Bodyline was quite full with hotties! Almost all patron were young and hot, tall and beautiful. If Asians is more your thing, try the 357 Sauna where the majority of visitors seems to be asians and their admirers.
Coffee is free here. Although instant, you can make your own. Don’t hesitate to ask for milk. No real food options here so don’t come too hungry.
Note that this place was packed on Saturday night, whereas on the Sunday it was rather empty. Disappointing.
It seems that out of all 3 saunas I checked out in Sydney, this is the one most popular with young hotties. If you like mature men, try Sydney Sauna, and if Asians is your thing, go directly to the 357 and skip both.
If you care about your hygiene, you should know this place is clean. But – there are carpets here which obviously absorb the humidity, so bring your own flip flops.
All in all this great venue gets 65 degrees Celsius out of the boiling 100
The Bodyline Spa & Sauna Sydney is located at 10 Taylor St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010, Australia
